All the keys left on , have a metal bar under them to help with the spring action.
Here they are, once removed.
The U shaped piece around the arrow keys does not come off.
More dirt close ups.
As there was no malfunction of this keyboard, most of the dirt was hair and dry particles.
Ick.
The metallic under plate. This is held on by 33 screws.
I used a damp cloth to rub between the rows. Changing to a clean spot on the cloth often.
Finished with a dry cloth overall, after scrubbing any tough spots with damp Q-tips.
